PrimaryWise has extensive experience of Teaching Assistant and Support Staff training at all levels from induction to HLTA preparation through modular training.  Between 2006 and 2009 PrimaryWise managed and delivered the Induction training programme for Primary and Secondary Teaching Assistants and School Support Staff for North Yorkshire County Council.

In 2010 a bespoke induction package was delivered in Lincolnshire for Secondary Teaching Assistants and a professional development package for Primary School Meals Supervisory Assistants has been written and piloted.  A school cluster INSET day for 75 TAs was delivered on Assessment for Learning.

Feedback on the above programmes has been overwhelmingly Good to Excellent from participants.

Programmes are based on best practice as identified by the TDA and supplemented with practical guidance and materials.  Sessions are delivered in an interactive style with lots of  opportunity for participant collaboration and sharing of good practice.
